WebExtension UX in XR

Spatial browser-extension UX that adapted tools like Bitwarden and Dark Reader into forms that worked inside XR.

What it was.

If spatial computing is going to feel like real computing, useful browser tools have to come with it. Password managers and reading utilities cannot be treated as optional extras.

The hard part was that extensions are built for flat popups, overlays, and pointer patterns that feel cramped or broken in XR.

I worked on translating those behaviors into XR-friendly surfaces while also helping with the bridge work that let the feature set hold together across native layers and Unity.

The result was less about novelty and more about utility: making an XR browser feel capable of real daily use.

Support for tools people already rely on, including Bitwarden and Dark Reader, showed that the platform could carry real utility rather than only showcasing custom demos.
